Sydney lunch – mid market PE

The Table Club are delighted to invite you to a lunch on Wednesday the 21^st November with Liverpool Partners, an Australian private equity firm specialising in the lower mid market (sub $50m EV). Joining us from Liverpool Partners will be Chairman Bill Best and Managing Partner Jonathan Lim. The Liverpool team will be discussing the state of the Australian Private Equity market and the nature of the opportunities they are seeing currently.

The team at Liverpool Partners seek to invest in, co-invest, provide and arrange capital or private equity in both private and public markets. In order to better exploit the mid market opportunities that the team are seeing at the moment, Liverpool are raising the Liverpool Partners Micro Cap Growth Fund (the ‘Fund’). The Fund size will be A$20m to A$30m and will operate under a co-investment model, with Liverpool leading, arranging and acting as the anchor investor in its transactions. The Fund will also give LP’s the capacity to co-invest deal by deal with investors which will enable Liverpool to execute larger transactions. The focus of the fund is to invest in tailwind industries or sectors with imminent ‘step change’ themes. While aiming for mid market assets, the Fund will retain the flexibility to invest in early stage or growth development businesses as it sees fit.
