Traditionally, The Table Club has directed its investment-centric events towards family office Principals and investment teams, with limited engagement with the next generation (Next Gen).
Recognising a significant opportunity, we aim to enhance global Next Gen involvement through dedicated events. This initiative involves integrating Next Gens into the event decision-making process, seeking their input for ideas, and crafting itineraries that resonate with their interests, thereby ensuring more immersive and fulfilling experiences.
The Table Club Next Gens is designed for family office Next Gens aged 18 to 45. Initially, we will host two annual events, catering for 20-25 like-minded Next Gen attendees in the Asia-Pacific region, with plans for expansion to three events in the future. The first event will be in Tokyo, Japan from 21st to 24th May 2024.
Our objectives for these events are to:
- Introduce Next Gens to the international investment landscape;
- Stimulate thought and interest;
- Address themes and topics pertinent to Next Gens;
- Leverage The Table Club’s existing connections and our broader Next Gen network to unlock unique opportunities;
- Deliver life-changing experiences and unforgettable memories; and •Foster enduring friendships within the wider network community.
While ambitious, we firmly believe these goals are attainable.
Upcoming trips
The Table Club Next Gen Forum – Tokyo, Japan scheduled for 21st to 24th May 2024, will explore the technology and property landscapes of Japan, placing a special emphasis on advancements in technology and innovation, particularly in areas like urban sustainability.
The Table Club Next Gen Forum – Queenstown, New Zealand scheduled for late September 2024, will explore New Zealand’s venture capital scene, with insights into New Zealand’s “Bunker People”. The group will also get a chance to experince Queenstown’s adventurous side with skiing and a helicopter tour.
