James Burkitt, CEO

James is the CEO and Founder of The Table Club. James set up The Table Club in 2008 alongside a core group of Sydney-based family offices who wanted to have a means to meet and invest with other family offices in different areas and with different backgrounds. It is now truly international and James’ work has developed accordingly. Before founding The Table Club, James worked with a number of family offices on their investment committees. Prior to that, James founded and successfully built and sold Rainmaker Information Services. James began his career working in institutional business development as Director of Business Development at Colonial First State Global Asset Management and as an Associate Director at Rothschild Asset Management. James has a Bachelor of Economics and Accounting from Sydney University, as well as an ACA from ICAA, and a Diploma in Securities and Investments from SIA.

Phoebe Schettini, Director

Phoebe is Director of The Table Club, having been with the company since its inception. She looks after the organisational aspect of The Table Club, managing the events that form the backbone of its ever-growing network.

Charles Creswick, Portfolio Manager

Charles is an investment professional with over twenty-five years’ experience in financial markets. He joined the Table Club in January 2022 where his primary role is to assess the suitability of a variety of offerings across various asset classes. Prior to this Charles was a Senior Portfolio Manager with the Ottomin Group, overseeing deal selection, implementation and ongoing management of a private and global multi-asset class portfolio of investments. Other experience includes senior roles in investment research with leading banking, investment management, broking and financial planning companies in Australia.

Will George, Associate Director

Will is an Associate Director of The Table Club, with 8 years’ experience across equity capital markets, corporate restructuring, and valuations services. In his most recent analyst role at PAC Partners, Will worked on 17 transactions raising more than $200m across multiple industries. Will previously worked at Ferrier Hodgson and KPMG. During his tenure at both Ferrier Hodgson and KPMG, Will worked on a number of high-profile corporate insolvencies, advisory, and valuation engagements across various industries including agriculture, property, construction, transport, mining and healthcare. Will holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Leon Siakos, Associate

Leon is the newest addition to The Table Club, with a wealth of experience garnered from twenty years experience in financial markets across multi-asset classes in providing hedging, market commentary and trade idea generation for large superannuation and hedge funds. Additional roles in Investment Analysis and Regulatory Trade Operations during this period has provided Leon with a vast array of experience across all facets of financial services.
