James Burkitt, CEO
James is the CEO and Founder of The Table Club. James set up The Table Club in 2008 alongside a core group of Sydney-based family offices who wanted to have a means to meet and invest with other family offices in different areas and with different backgrounds. It is now truly international and James’ work has developed accordingly. Before founding The Table Club, James worked with a number of family offices on their investment committees. Prior to that, James founded and successfully built and sold Rainmaker Information Services. James began his career working in institutional business development as Director of Business Development at Colonial First State Global Asset Management and as an Associate Director at Rothschild Asset Management. James has a Bachelor of Economics and Accounting from Sydney University, as well as an ACA from ICAA, and a Diploma in Securities and Investments from SIA.
Phoebe Schettini, Director
Phoebe is Director of The Table Club, having been with the company since its inception. She looks after the organisational aspect of The Table Club, managing the events that form the backbone of its ever-growing network.
Nicole Matthews, Consultant
Nicole is a dynamic, commercially astute strategy and operations executive with 20 years’ experience in professional services, driving growth, transforming operating models and leading high performing, cross-functional teams. She has a proven record of delivering operational excellence, complex project execution and cost efficiencies in environments ranging from startups to global companies. She has worked in a Family Office as COO, as well as advised Family Offices in their establishment and transition phases. At The Table Club, Nicole is focussed on our Corporate Partnerships, event hosting and special programs.
Jan Vencalek, Associate
Jan is an Associate of The Table Club. He joined the Table Club in 2024 to primarily focus on enhancing our members experience and ensure that our members leverage our unique family office network to full potential as well as manage various organisational initiatives spanning from industry research projects to internal digital transformation projects. Prior to Table Club, Jan has worked for SaaS and Fintech businesses in business development roles. Jan holds bachelor of business management from International College of Management, Sydney.
